PAWS 2026 – Primary Aquatic Water Safety
We were delighted to have a member of the education team for Water Safety Ireland to come in and teach our PAWS(Primary Aquatic Water Safety) programme this year. The program aims to build confidence, awareness and safe habits around water.
Over the course of the program
- students learnt to recognise water hazards
- understand basic safety rules
- know what to do if they ever feel unsafe near water
Water Safety Ireland hopes that these PAWS programmes, both land and learning to swim programmes, will foster a more positive water safety culture in Ireland. They want to remind all the students to have a safe and happy summer around water this year!
