Official Opening of New School Hall at Scoil Naomh Eoin Ballincurrig!!
We welcomed the Ballincurrig school community and all our families and friends on Wednesday night to help us celebrate a momentous milestone with the opening of our new school hall!
A Trojan effort by our fundraising committee, our Board of Management, our parents association, our former principal Paul Davis and all the staff and students at Scoil Naomh Eoin has been rewarded with this fantastic new school hall. This facility will be enjoyed by present and future pupils as well as the local community as it will be available for hire from September onwards.
We had a wonderful opening night, and are extremely honoured that past pupils and award winning jockeys, Paul and Jody Townend performed the ribbon cutting ceremony!
Our new Principal Colm Barry thanked Caroline, Jody and Paul Townend for taking time out of their busy schedules and helping make this event a memorable one for all!
A huge thank you to our wonderful Parent’s Association and to all volunteers who assisted with the catering, decorating of the hall, signage, face painting and all the fun and games that took place on the night.
