The Principal, Mr. Barry, introduced the productions with kind words of thanks to staff and parents for all their support of the school during the year.
A lovely audience of parents, grandparents, friends and visitors from Ballincurrig Care Centre enjoyed an outstanding production of “Stargazers”, a musical version of the Nativity, done by the Junior classes in Scoil Naomh Eoin. The hard work, practice and effort put in by Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class (and their teachers!) was obvious in this joyful, uplifting and heart-warming start to the Christmas productions.
Second to Sixth Classes kept the festive spirit going with a medley of popular Christmas songs everyone likes to sing along to! These students had already entertained the residents of Ballincurrig Care Centre earlier in the week and the families and friends in our community who attended the Parents Association Coffee morning the previous week. Well done to all involved in this fabulous festive fun!
