School Self-Evaluation

Our school is undertaking a cycle of self-evaluation of teaching and learning in prewriting and handwriting. We began this process in 2018.The intended outcome of this process is to improve teaching and learning in the area of handwriting, and to equip pupils with the lifelong skills they will need to become competent and confident in the area of handwriting. Having gathered and analysed data and handwriting samples over a two-year period we are pleased to let you know that we have seen an improvement in the achievement of our pupils. The views of parents are very important to us and can really help us gain an insight into your experiences and perspectives. Please see below a questionnaire for parental feedback on your child’s handwriting. By giving us your views and opinions, we can continue to improve the learning of pupils in our school. The questionnaire should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. We would be very grateful if you would complete it and return it to the school before Friday 28th February. Please note that you may complete the questionnaire anonymously and that all individual responses will be treated confidentially. Thank you very much.
